DALLAS — Mavericks owner and Mt. Lebanon native Mark Cuban announced during the Pat McAfee Show yesterday that he intends to rewrite the ending to the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’ to meet fan expectations, precisely as he did with long-running hit ‘The Sopranos.’
“Let me say this: the negotiations [to fund and shoot it] are well underway,” he said, providing absolutely no concrete evidence of that statement’s validity. “I’ve been hammering out material six, seven hours every day, but it hasn’t been easy: you have to give Daenerys the respect she deserves as a powerful character while still resolving all the conflict revolving around her. Luckily, I have all that experience, as you’ll recall. from doing the very same with Butch DeConcini and Silvio Dante when I wrote a proper finale for ‘The Sopranos.'”
Later in the interview, Cuban also stated he plans to redo the finale of Seinfeld, author a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film that renews their ooze origin story, and serve as showrunner of ‘The Simpsons’ to restore them the “glory” of seasons four through eight.
